MS -Ancedotal evidence on slant top PE vs upright

Since the changes to the machines with the middle card dealt first,
Our observations are:
1) Uprights, machines busy normal distribution of quads and even a SF
observed.
2) Slanttops, machines busy, Nobody getting quads and certainly no SF.

Just the random walk of the law of big numbers? Or is Mohegan doing a
test comparing action on gaffed machines versus fair deal machines.
I believe this happened and is documented in a VP book. Think it was at
the Cherokee casino in North Carolina 10 years or so ago.

Man I hope you are not correct about the machines being gaffed. I
found I was making mistakes and had to really slow down my play on
the .25 slant tops, so much so I stopped playing, it was too anoying.
Maybe mistakes were causing the # of quads to go down. -Russ

Russ,
The middle xxxfingerxxx I mean middle card first deal is annoying
unless you play the machines exlusivley. Then it becomes standard
operating procedure after about a few sessions.

Since the middle deal is the same on both the slant tops and the
uprights, I cannot attribute observed jackpot discrepancy on error
making. Its ancedotal with perhaps 30 hours on slantops and 20 hours
on uprights. I'm getting pissed, as well, with this four month losing
streak. Also, where are all the regular AP gamblers? Busted, Atlantic
City, at the JB machines or best of all - increased bankroll so
playing the $5  ?

=================================

I find the middle deal a little annoying but, I'm sure that I will
get used to it soon.

I played on the slant tops in the old poker room this past weekend.
I couldn't get 4 of a kind to save my life. The machine kept
taunting me with 4 to a royal or 4 to a straight flush. What a
tease! The previous weekend, I hit 2 4oak on the 3rd machine
(nearest the car).

This past weekend I did see several people have hand pays. One
woman, in particular, who was playing on the 2nd machine (nearest
the car) hit 4 4oak AND a straight flush. All of this occurred
within 5 hours! One man hit 4oak twice but he was only playing 1
coin. This same man hit 4oak twice playing 1 coin the previous
weekend as well.

I have seen a few of the AP players playing PE but have also noticed
some of them at the new bartop playing 9/6 JoB.

I won't be able to pick up my toaster this weekend as I'll be in AC
visiting Harrah's. I have some birthday cash to pick up. Hopefully,
I'll have some good wins to report back.

Good luck, royals and 4oak to all.

Jack

Thanks Jack,
That is good news. I told my "conspiracy theorist" wife and she said
her player's card is flagged and machine changes software. Always
some reason to suspect but your observations are powerful.

---The last two times I was there I saw several 4OAK.I don't play
pickum much so I find the way the cards are dealt annoying. I play
the JOB bartops 99% of the time. Last week when I hit my royals,
someone hit a 22,500 royal. I am over royaled there and Dori has yet
to hit one. Just the way VP goes.
