MS 5th level

LED Gaming which designs the game has mentioned it but I have never seen it. If you are familiar with the "6/4/2" rule for Multi-Strike strategy, the five level version becomes "8/6/4/2". That means when using a strategy generating program (I know Video Poker for Winners has Multi-Strike pre-loaded but I do not know if that includes the 5 level version.) you add 40 (8*5) to the five coin value for every scoring hand for the first level, 30 (6*5) for the second level, etc. Normal strategy at the fifth level and on "free rides".

Sometimes it's hard to find whether someone has mentioned a game on here even when I search the group.

I noticed a Multistrike with a 5th level for (16 times pay) in the high limit area of Boulder Station the other day.

Only glanced at it, as I was on my way out that day. Has there been a thread on these already?

thanks

Subject: [vpFREE] MS 5th level

I used to be a real MS fanatic. Over the years I'm 100% sure my net result on that game (and its 5 Play variation) was not a win. Nevertheless, the fantasy of a top line royal persisted. Indeed, I played next to a man once who did get that $32K hand. So, rare as it is, it can and does happen.

The newer five level version mentioned recently feeds into the same fantasy of a great top level jackpot.

But if you are a $1 MS player and want an even better potential top level jackpot, then I have a risky alternative for you. It will cost you $30 a hand for a four level game (instead of $25 for a $1 5 level game).

But your potential top level royal is $200K.

(Might as well fantasize big, right?)

The game is STP MS. I played it at the MGM Grand a while back.

There are two machines. Both list 25c as the highest denomination. Don't be misled by that, as max coin bet is 100 coins (+ 20 for the STP feature). That's $30 (120x25c) per hand. In effect you are playing $7.50 per line, making the game's "actual" denomination $1.25. I calculated it as $1.25 x 6 (5 + 1 to activate STP per hand) x 4 levels = $30.

The highest potential top line multiplier is 40x. So, on a perfect night with all the stars aligned and luck on your side, your top line royal with that multiplier earns you $1.25 x 5 x 800 x 40 = $200K.

I haven't been to Vegas in months. Therefore, I can't advise you as to current paytables on those two STP MS machines. My local California $1 MS machine with NSUD was removed in April. So my mind hasn't been much on the game at all lately.

One SoCal casino offers $5 JW2 MS STP (99.9948 IIRC), with a potential $1M payout. If you think JW2 is tough, MS JW2 is much, much harder. I also don't think the casino realizes what it's offering...they also have a $5 Big Times 99.96 DW program. Flop the bonus deuces, that's a cool $500K. Not going to say what casino it is, except to note that it's not a play, and it's not one of the 5 biggest ones in the region (either Desert or SD).

With all of these extremely unlikley, high variance events, at some point are you better off just playing the lottery???
