On a disappointing but related note, after the Illini game last night I ran
through about 10K on the Deuces 3 play with only one set of dealt trip
deuces and never drew to any quads. My beer change math tells me that this
is no quad deuces in roughly 8000 hands and dealt trips only once in 2600 or
so base hands.

I agree. I don't trust my own faulty recollection and much less the
memories of somebody else. I sincerely commend John for the effort. My
math talents don't extend much higher tham being able to distinguish whether
I've been short changed at the local tavern, but I can't help but wonder at
the utility of such a small sample. What size sample would be necessary to
be useful?

I've posted a file on the vpfree_Chicago file section showing my

Well done.
Accurate records are much better than selective
(or faulty) memory.
