MS 10/23 report

Was at MS this past weekend, and noticed a couple machines that
aren't in the database. In the Hall of Lost Tribes casino, there is
a single $5 full-pay PE machine (TITO gamemaker, also had 9/6 JoB),
and a single $5 3/5 play 9/6 JoB machine. They're adjacent to
eachother, and located on your immediate right as you enter the Hall
of Lost Tribes from the entrance closest to the parking garage / bus
area.

I also noticed at least three $0.25 full-pay PE machines (gamemakers,
don't remember if they were TITO) in the non-smoking area of the Sky
casino behind the blackjack tables. They were mixed in with short-
pay games, so check the paytables if you play there. Good
alternatives for people who want to play in non-smoking
environments. Just wish they'd add a few dollar machines to a non-
smoking area...

Also wanted to mention that I hit 4 straight flushes on the $1 PE
machines all within about 7,000 hands! For those of you not familiar
with PE, the SF cycle is about 35,000 hands -- pretty close to a RF
in most other games. If that isn't wacky enough, 3 of the straight
flushes were exactly the same hand -- 5-9 of diamonds (although the
sequence was different in all of them). I know there has been a lot
of talk about rigged machines, and extremely bad sessions that make
some question the statistical fairness of these machines. I've
played a lot of PE at MS in the last few months, and I've surely had
some bad sessions (almost 20,000 hands with no quads!), so I just
wanted to share an experience on the positive end of statistical
extremes.

I finally hit my first quad at these. When they took them down for a
couple days they told me they were updating the software. I was
wondering what kind of change they could have made.

The .25 PE's in the non-smoking Sky casino: all six slant-top
GameMakers in the row closer to to bathrooms looked all non-TITO and
full-pay. But the row on the other side of the room was short-pay.

I've updated the DataBase:

Thanks for the reports.
