Moving to Las Vegas - better to have local mailers or out-of-town mailers?

My wife and I are moving to Vegas (finally, after years of constantly visiting!). We'll still have our old address back on the East Coast for a while. Are there any casinos that are better to not update with our new address in order to receive out-of-town offers instead of local offers? We are mostly quarters players, although we do dabble in multi-line games as well as Multistrike on occasion.

We play mostly at: the Stations, the Coasts, the Palms, and M.

Are we better off receiving locals mailers, or out-of-town offers at these places?

Thanks in advance,

John

I moved to Vegas last year after years of visiting from So Calif and I get much better offers at the locals casinios (Stations & Coasts) with a local address. I even get room offers for "staycations" and such. It's a great place to retire, Pat

You ought to try the Silverton John. Have good offers and lots of drawings for great prizes. They also have a $5 buffet for seniors as well as discounts in their restaurants. Also have a $5 buffet on Tuesdays as well as a free movie and popcorn. On Monday they also have drawings every two hours for $100. Have 24 hr. to claim your prize!

I think that Tuesday special ended the last of October. But seniors can still get a $5 buffet on Mondays anytime between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Thanks everyone for the information. I've heard good things about Silverton, but unless I'm wrong, isn't their best game only 8/5 Bonus Poker? We play a lot of quarter FPDW at the Stations (and Palms occasionally), and a 100.7 game vs. a 99.1 game just seems to big of an edge to constantly give up, unless the mailers are amazing (are they?). Is there something else about Silverton that I'm not aware of that makes it more worth it? The food giveaway offer they have this month at Silverton does seem very good though.

Any more tips are always appreciated. Thanks!

John

The coupons are all gone. Thank you for helping me recycle.

You might want to keep your out of town address for one of you and switch the other to your Las Vegas address. I have found the Palms is usually better for locals but my husband has received some great offers for free play, rooms, concerts, etc. from the Palms using our Oregon address.
