We had somehow gotten the idea that 10K/day (two people on one card)
was a pretty good amount for Laughlin, so one day we stopped over
and played JOB there for that amount.
Talking to people on the flight, they have all sorts of different
offers, and those data-miners at Harrah's do some things we can't
even fathom. At least we are on the Harrah's mailing list which has
provided offers to Tunica, AC, and $100 credit to Reno/Tahoe as well
as rooms. Maybe we can give some of these other Harrah's locations
the action that Laughlin does not want. None of them have any VP to
speak of, so we really need to limit our play.
We're seeing the plays go away in Laughlin, and the casinos aren't
even as anxious to have us visit to play their worse games!
The pendulum will swing, and we'll be glad to be back.

Well, that is sure bad news. Those flight to Laughlin are a nice
way
to travel. I used to take those flight from Northern California,
but
those offers had stopped completely due to my lack of play at H-L.
It is hard to figure out how Harrah's computes their offers. Did
your
coin in, go way down from previous trips? Perhaps they compute it
on
total coin in per trip rather than daily?
I received a flight offer a few months ago to Harrah's Reno from
Fresno. The odd thing is I have never played at Harrah's Reno.
Also,
I can drive to Reno in about 3.5 to 4 hours, but Fresno is at
least a
90 minute drive in the wrong direction.
