If you stay at a Coast you can get room keys and then you'll be okay on the
shuttle bus. I may just do that one night to get some keys!
After the key-holders are loaded into the shuttles, other people can board.
The probelm is that there are more people who want to use the shuttles than
buses. Next week the Rodeo people will be in town, so space on the shuttles
will pretty much just be for key-holders.
Alternative ways to get to Gold Coast:
FREE - Take Harrah's shuttle to Rio and walk (also gets you over to Palms)
FREE - Take Palms shuttle from strip and walk.
Rio shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes.

To get to ORLEANS
From Gold Coast/Palms/ vacinity -
Take Rt. 104 ValleyView/Torrey Pines Route which will cross Arville at
Flamingo. Get on bus at Arville and get off at Tropicana. Bus runs
approximately every 40 min. weekdays; less on weekends. (Or walk from GC to Orleans -
approximately 1/2 mile)
Or take Taxi from GC to Orleans
To get to ORLEANS from strip --
Take Deuce Bus to Tropicana and take Rt. 201 up Tropicana (runs every 20 min)

I think the new Shuttle rules are going to hurt the Orleans the most because
it is awkward to get there from the strip. I know they are going to be
losing business.

My suggestion: COMPLAIN -- Fill out one of those complaint forms if this
effects you and your playing!

Note - if you are a regular GC or Orleans player, ask host if you can book a
free room there. They are pretty liberal on rooms, especially if not during
the Rodeo Finals. Try late Dec.
