observations from trip
reno locals still cant play VP well, saw more single coin play than
ever. Saw people throwing high pairs away to keep single ace every time
I sat down,on DDB mostly but even playin NSUD.
DDB most popular game.
NSUD at .25 & up on every bar top I saw.
The Becks was ALWAYS cold!
O'douls is being drank by more & more players
Fish bar with the music videos playin on the plasmas was a joy to play
at, saw Frank followed by Tina followed by Queen followed by Christine
Aguillara followed by Dave Matthews followed by Sammy followed by Bruce
with Little Stevie, all live concert perfomances, no "staged videos"
The Pepp drawing announcer has the most annoying voice in the history
of mankind!!!
Fireside bar seems to be a pickup place for 20 somethin's , place had a
weird sad vibe to it. The sunken fireplaces are with the mini plasmas
are neat.
Saw some real skinny people with no teeth lookin like 25 going on 50
drinkin "double stregnth" espreesso's . seem to like video keno a lot.
Asian menu at the buffet & coffee shop excellent.
Listen in on a training meeting of the coffee shop staff with
mangement, the attenion to detail & the pleasent way the meeting was
done gave me more understanding as to why the employees at the pepp are
so good at there jobs
Met 2 ice truckers from Alaska, they drive 300 miles one way over the
glaciers,had some neat pictures, get 10 weeks off a year & had a member
of staff waiting on them hand on foot.
had 2 different older gentlemen tell me about the "glitch" on some of
the old cleopatra keno machines that favored even numbers & the outside
edge , machines have been removed, heard this rumor for a couple of
years now.
Lots fun playin NSUD side by side my wife teachin her the game, pass
the statergy chart back & forth all trip, no problems.
