First the good. I must have walked right past the 5c loose deuces
at Fitzgerald's. It's right there where msVpfae said. I played a
little with no luck, but it was being played most of the time we
were there, but I did manage to win the progressive on the quarter
machines in the bank there for $1,236! My DB strategy has gotten
really rusty so I played the BP.
More bad news from the Plaza: the (4) 5c/10c/25c MG/MD TITO slant-
tops near south snack bar are now only (3), but that doesn't matter,
because all the paytables have been downgraded to unplayable. My
husband and I are really mourning these. We've spent many an hour
there on $20 in listening to the cheesy lounge acts and enjoying
refreshing adult beverages. We also received lots of offers based on
that little play. Now there's nothing left to play there that can't
be easily found someplace else.
The slot club at the Vegas Club was "upgraded". We had to get new
cards which are the old "Ultimate Club" cards that we first got
there. They must have had lots of blanks left. The system has lots
of bugs. We kept losing our points and having to have the
boothlings file reports. At the time we left yesterday, the lost
points had not yet been restored. Beware!
The club was not changed at the Plaza. Both clubs have moved
though. VC is right next to the east entrance and Plaza is where
hotel registration used to be. That was moved to the third floor.
Both casinos have been rearranged a lot. I expect that many more
changes are planned.
