We only got the EW Access cards, didn't bother with CB. You have to get
separate ones for each place.
The readers did show our names and the points so we knew when we got the
200 points for the free hats.
The old cards did not work. We played the 5c short pay joker poker (85
for 4 of a kind and 4700 RF) just to get on the system.

So the readers had a countdown? Did it have your previous balances? Did old
One Club points get incorporated? Did it have a Free Play balance/Comp
balance?

I am trying to figure out if this new Access system is really trying to be
user friendly like all the advertisments suggest.

Gambling Grandma stated that EW went back to plain old hand filled drawing
tickets for the weekly drawings they are doing through Labor Day. You
experience a drawing, any observations?

So was the baseball cap big enough to fit my fat head? That is the trouble
usually with casino logo items for me. Though I thought the reflective
sunscreens were decent enough and might take the place of my Coasts/Orleans one for
the chariot.

We cleared out our accounts the last time we were there. Didn't want to
chance the change over.
It only showed the point balance. It should be easy to calculate the
comp balance with their new 3 part system.
I did hear someone complaining that they got part of their comps but not
all as I was getting my card. Surprising there was really no wait at
the slot club.

We did the inventory then just played enough for the 200 points took
about an hour. Then left. We had the free show tickets at RE to go to.

There is a Velcro band on the back. So maybe?

We will be in Laughlin for the Tropicana Express opening. Is it worth making our way down there? Also, we would like to see the show there. With all the free tickets, will we be able to buy some? Thanks:)

Hard to say if it is worth the trip.
Did you get the Special offer for the grand opening?

That offer included 2 free nights, free t-shirt or hat, 5 free drawing
tickets, and two free Follies Magnifique tickets.

The tickets for the show are $19.99 (ours were free from a mail offer),
but I think they will give anyone 2 for 1 at the slot club.
We went friday night and it was mostly the gray hair (or lack of)
crowd. So we fit right in. Seating was about half filled. There
should not be any trouble getting tickets. The show starts at 8pm, doors
open at 7pm and you seat yourself, FCFS. Don't sit in the front row,
otherwise the comic may embarrass you. I was pleased that the comics
jokes were not obscene. We enjoyed the show. It lasted about 75 min.
There was a comic, a lady singer, a couple that were excellent dancers,
5 attractive topless ladies, and 2 male dancers.

Enjoy....

We are staying at Harrah's on a free air and 5 night room offer. We will fit right in with the white haired people:) If you didn't find it obscene,we shouldn't then. There aren't many shows in Laughlin so we will try to get tickets. Don't have cards there yet. Thanks.
