More information on daily per machine take

I just read this in an article. I wonder why one casino wins $300/machine daily and this one is far less.

Hard Rock's slot handle, slot winnings and slots in use were also down compared with fourth-quarter 2003. As a result, its daily win per machine fell to $83 from $93. The property attracted more low- and midlevel slot players but suffered dramatically from the absence of one bettor who played heavily in 2003 but was absent last year, Bowen said.

obviously the hard rock needs a new casino management team...their
financial results are down when the other casinos are producing record
results...

I've always wondered if the demographic they try to draw here was too
limited. Twenty somethings are pretty and can party, but they don't
generally have lots of dough.
