more Harrahs Diamond club info

Today I checked out Ballys/Paris. The Diamond club is only open in Paris so
far. Bally's Vegas opens on Friday. Paris had good fruit, cheese, cole
slaw, potato salad, and excellent deserts. The bad was the sandwich wraps,
which were the same over-spiced, bad-tasting ones found at the Rio. We couldn't
eat them. They bring in hot appetizers at 7pm, just like the Rio. There is
a well-stocked bar as well as table seating. Lots of waiters, maybe too
many, but only 1 over-taxed bartender.

Then I went to Caesars Palace to check out the 7Star only lounge. To enter,
go to VIP check-in in the Augustus tower. You swipe your card and get a
special card for entry. This lounge opens about 8am each day, until 10pm or so.
But food for dinner comes around 7pm and then cold food until 9:30pm. When
I arrived at 9:30 there was nothing but coffee. I didn't see any waiters.
It looks like drinks are served by waiters. I didn't wait around to see if
one would finally arrive. Big screen TV, nice chairs, but food situation
looks iffy unless you are there at 7pm.

If anyone has more info on this, please post.

Flamingo Hilton's Diamond Lounge is up and running. It is in the hallway
that leads down to the buffet. They had sandwiches, fruit, cheese, etc. when I
was there some weeks ago. Hot food perhaps at 7pm?

Does anyone know if Imperial Palace is accepting Harrah's points for comps
yet? Can Harrah's card be used there?
