more good luck - - but don't kill me cause I've been lucky.......

Now don't kill me when I recite my tale of good luck. Just remember I've
been losing a lot of money since the beginning of the year and probably the
wins just equal the losses........ But luck is a flukey thing, isn't it?

So I told you all how I hit 3 royals on the same machine on Sunday - very
weird and a first for me.

So today I was back at the Palms and thought I'd try that machine again.
Nope - no royals. It wasn't playing too badly, but after an hour or so of
winning and losing I got very tired of the machine.

So I decided to put on a few points on the card - quickly - since I'd wasted
so much time on the 10/7 DB.

A psychic voice or perhaps a psycho voice whispered through my mind - "gee I
haven't played 5 play dueces once all year."

I headed over to the bank where my favorite triple play $1 machine was -
which hadn't given me any jackpots in months. On the other side of the bank was
a 3/5 play $1. I started playing NSU deuces - five play. I hit dueces, but
the money quickly went back in at $25 per pull ($5 x 5 hands). I was about
to give up when - walla -

Royal Dealt to me -- 5 x $4000 = twenty big ones!

Woopdeedoo!!!!

In two days I won about $32,000!!!! Which is almost as much as I've lost
all year. I got a check for the jackpot and it will go into the bank (where
most of the 3 royal money already has gone).

I still can't believe it. A multiplay dealt royal is sort of the Holy Grail
of video poker. I finally got it!

The ying-yang of VP - the volitility - the need for a big bankroll - the
weirdo luck on just happening to be at the right machine at the right time - who
can understand it? Not me.

But......... whoopdeedoo!!!!!

···

-------
Hoping you'll all do the same someday soon.......follow that weirding voice
in your head to a luckier machine than yesterday.....

Best, Linda

Congratulations. Luck is the only way anyone wins at the game, and
it shined upon you today.

Hey Linda,

Wow that is incredible! Glad to hear you won. Dealt Royal on 5-play dollars is the best! I still savour that dealt Royal I got on 10-play nickels Deuces Wild 3 years ago. Lucky for you that your inner voice was telling you to play Deuces.

Hi Lucky Linda,

I've enjoyed reading about your super good plays this week. GOOD
for you!! If the backround of this post looks green, don't be
concerned, it's just my reflection.

I can't even imagine your excitement upon gazing on a dealt Royal on
1.00 5 play!! I think they would have had to call 911 if it
happened to me. But I'll take the chance. At least I'll go out with
a smile on my face.

Now a question for you. How did the Palms people react to your good
fortune? Did they offer to comp you the world, hoping to get you to
stick around, and give some loot back? Did they decide that your
play was too strong for them, and take away your card, or even
trespass you? Or did they just nonchalent the whole great winning
streak and act like it was nothing special?

I have my own opinion about the The Palms, but I'm curious as to how
they reacted to your good fortune, if you care to comment on the
experience.

Hope you have many more Royal days like this.

When I was dealt a royal on $1 machine, everyone at the Palms seemed happy - they took my picture, as they do for many people who hit jackpots (even ones a lot smaller in dollar amount than $20,000_, and put it up for awhile on the slot club wall. My BB did decrease for a couple of months, but they have been changing their criteria so much lately I'm not sure that was a factor.

Hi Jean,

I'm happy you're feeling good, and that your arteries are clean as a
whistle!

I'm sure that the Palms would be happy for YOU!! Think of the
favorable publicity to be garnered from this happening, when it
involved the QUEEN! I'm not quite so sure how they re-acted to
Linda's great win. I hope she lets us know.

                Best to you. Babe
