More changes at the Majestic Star

Looking at my reply on 5 play Multi-Strike I got the DB2's and Super Aces
reversed. The 25c versions are the better. Also note that a slight tweak to
the free ride % on DB2's makes it only a 99.89% game 0.03% weaker than NSUD
on this machine.

I'll confirm the jacks, bonus and deuces on the MS 5 Play. As usual,

Howard

is quite a bit more thorough than I. I didn't get a chance to look at the
single MS games as they were occupied while I was looking. I've been
playing upstairs lately so didn't notice the new spin pokers either. I
might handle the 5 play MS at the nickel level, but $25 per hand at the
quarter level is just a tiny bit out of my league:-)

Incidentally, 27K of action (over Thurs and Sunday) on the nickel hundred
plays apparently doesn't rate much in the way of comps at MS. I asked

for a

$20 Don&Mike comp and boothling could only give $11. I got $20 with host
authorization. I was told I was overcomped, though I rarely ask for
anything and haven't taken a comp since the September blackjack

tournament.

Maybe this is old news, but the comp rate seems pretty skimpy. Months

ago I

was playing 3/5 quarters at the same ER game and had more comps than I
wanted, which typically doesn't take much at MS. I'm not exactly sure

what

the reasoning is for reducing comps on lower denomination games if that is
what is happening. I would think ER and action would be the more

important

considerations.

Three Spin Poker Deluxe games on the back wall of the main VP room.
1c/2c/5c. No 99%+ at 1c or 2c. At 5c the following are over 99%: Triple
Deuces, 9-6 jacks and 18-7-5-940 joker kings.

In the Mike Ditka Bar they now have only six 5c/10c/25c on the back wall
and 5c in ten coins. The RF is now short pay unless you play ten coins.
Two regular Multi-Strikes have returned but the DB deuces (and three other
games) are MIA on these.
There are now three five play Multi-Strikes (also at least one more in the
main VP room.
For all of these you must play all 100 credits to not get short payed on
the royal.
Games on these are as follows:
Game: 25c 5c/10c
Jacks 9-6 9-5
Bonus 7-5 8-5
Bonus Dlx 9-6 8-6
Deuces 16 -10(NSU) 15-9 (IL)
Bonus 2s 9-4-4 13-4-3
DB 2s 25-9 25-12
Dbl Bonus 9-7-5 9-6-5
DDB 9-6 9-5
Super DB 9-5 8-5
Triple DB 9-7 9-6
Super Aces 6-5 7-5
Joker 17-7-5-940 AC-5K

Hopefully everybody in this group that plays the 25c Ditka progressive
plays 9-6 jacks but those the play DB should be aware that it has been
reduced to 9-6-5 and other games have been made shorter on some but not

all

At $25 per hand the point is moot for me. Too bad. I had a good time
playing FP nickel 5play MS in Reno recently.
