This morning, I went to a kiosk at Gold Coast and swiped. It showed the correct number of

points, but 0 tier credits, which had been 334,170 when I finished playing last week

It also showed the following 3 promos

Free drawing entry

A bingo offer

2X tier credits

Went to Player’s Club and said that I didn’t have the Young at Heart 11X multiplier.

She asked if it wasn’t on the kiosk I mentioned the 3 items above. She said “Oh.you’re Ruby”

My Emerald card shows validity through 12/31/18

She went inside to speak to her supervisor, came back and shrugged

I considered calling Gaming, but, considering the recent program changes, decided it wasn’t

worth the effort unless they wouldn’t allow me to cash out my points, which turned out to be no

problem

An abrupt ending to a relationship that lasted at least 25-30 years

I think I have it all figured out.

Boyd has decided that they have too many customers and they came up with this offbeat way of thinning the crowds. I think it will work splendidly. Well done Boyd.

I think that the whole “no points for Ruby” thing is tied in to that. Boyd will simply refuse to let undesirable customers advance to Sapphire and thus never have to give them any slot points.
