More $1 PE

Bank of $1 fp PE machines in the Casino of the Sky. Facing the parking
lot exit machines are to the left towards the valet exit. Note these
are coin droppers, and a friend waited 45 min. for a fill, but may due
when all $1 machines in the old poker rm. are busy.

David

This would be good news.

My mother is a stroke survivor, and my parents love to play
blackjack under the "turtle shell" in Sky -- it's both non-smoking and
has at least one convenient handicap-accessible table. Our normal M.O.
when I take them is to park valet in Sky, make sure they're set up
under the shell, then walk all the way to the old poker room by
myself.

Besides the availability of machines, is there anyone else that
would benefit from $1 FP PE in Sky simply from a convenience
standpoint? Really hard to get on those JOB bartops sometimes as well.

These are somewhat near the Lost Guest Assistance booth and there are
11 upright machines. There is a sign on the machines that say that
balances over $400 will be paid by an attendant and someone playing
confirmed it; so cashing out just under $400 would be the worst wait.
I have not played these yet, but I'd like to know if these play any
faster than the old poker room. When I had surveyed the full pay
quarters, the ones in non-smoking Sky played slightly faster than the
ones in the old poker room.

I have played these machines twice, thanks to David's tip, and do
find them slightly faster. The machines also do not lock up on a
quad. Being uprights, they do get uncomfortable much faster.
