Montreal's casino: any toughts?

Hello everyone,

I am a new member here, nice to meet you all

I was searching for information about the Montreal's casino and it seems no new information is available on this group (a search using "Montreal" gave me some posts from 2007...).

I noticed many 7/5 JoB in this casino, which is depressing since this is the only strategy I know for now (I am rather new at video poker). With a return rate of 96% for 7/5, slots machines almost seems like a good choice... (almost kidding...).

So, I think about learning other games, maybe Bonus Poker or Deuces Wild. Any suggestions about which games might be the bests to learn for Montreal's players?

Take care everyone and thank you for reading.

Welcome to the group. I went to the Montreal casino a couple of years ago and couldn't find any video poker worth playing. I'd suggest you save up your money and play at a better venue.

Regards

A.P.

Hello Albert,

Thank you very much for your welcome.

I agree, the video poker offering at the Montreal casino is not really good. If I remember correctly, Bonus Poker would offer a return of 98 % (or near of it), which is better than 7/5 JoB but not good overall (the slot club is worth 0.33%). It is a long-term loser bet, but it might last longer than JoB at leasts...

Problem is, it is hard for a local (like me! lol) to go elsewhere without planning a whole trip. I would love to try Blackjack, but the minimal bet is 15$ at Montreal (go figure). And I do not like the slots, it is just numbing after 30 minutes and it is a true money vacuum!

It is really too bad, I so wanted to test my video poker skills (I practiced a lot the strategies) at a real-life casino for a few hours.

Thank you for your opinion about that matter. It will help!
