Monte Lago

Haven't been to Vegas for awhile and am coming next week for 8 days.
The Monte Lago casino is new since my last trip and I'm hearing good
things about it. The website is not very informative and I was
wondering if anybody out there could give me the 411 on the place.
Any FPVP? Do they have a buffet? How are the comps? Thanks in advance.

There is good and bad news. All FP is 25c. They have several banks of FPDW and most machines have KB JW and 10/7 DB. There are lots of .50, $ and $5 NSU's.

On Mon - Thu in Oct they have 2X cashback, making it nominally .5%. However, you can only take it in increments of $20 (4000 pts.).

There is no buffet but a good coffee shop and the sports bar has some very good, cheap pizza, philly and other sandwhiches and wraps. There are currently coupons for a $5.95 steak dinner. Call the Player's club but they should be easy to get (I got them both via email and in a special mailer).

There are no discretionary comps. You must use points.

The slot techs will speed the machines to the max if asked. All machines are uprights. Regardless of the signage, all VP machines are Game Kings with all games. Floor personnel are very nice but morale is not good. Management makes many, many mistakes which keeps the place relatively empty.

Everything mentioned below is accurate, except there are 5 cents and
10 cents FPDW and DDBP (10/6) on some Multi Game/denomination
Machines near the Tenuta Cafe by the Back wall--near the stairs
leading to the sports bar
