I too have noticed that my mailers don't vary much at all. I probably
won't be going back there any time soon since it's almost cost
prohibitive to drive out there with such little return.

The monthly mailer I get from Monte Lago usually has Freeplay that
is good from Monday through Sunday of each week. Then there are a
couple of food discount coupons, but since I was poisoned twice in
the Tenuta Cafe, I don't go there anymore. I wasn't a surprise when
I saw the place got a C grade during a recent Health Dept inspection.
The June mailer had a couple of Freeplay coupons that are only good
on Tuesdays or Thursdays. And then some coupons for tickets for a
drawing that is usually on a Friday or Saturday night at 8PM, when I
am never there.
Since this month is 5X points only on Sundays, I will likely be
going late Saturday nights and not start playing until after
midnight.

Returned this afternoon and rechecked. There are 15 multi-game
machines with fpdw available(I believe their exact locations can be
found in the Vegas cross directory). Two still have semi-fast speed,
Two are set right at dead middle, and the rest, by my humble
observation, are set at best a notch below middle speed, if not
slower. Personally I perfer 'moderate fast', the notch between dead
middle and the fastest speed. I was told by another player that all
the fp ducks were at this speed prior to the 5x point promos. I was
also told by the floorpeople that CML mandated all machine speeds be
set at exact middle. What I find curious is that at least half of the
other machines are set pretty fast. I believe its an assult on the
fpdw only, as last week another floorperson told they were losing on
them. Im just glad most half dollar NSU's and 0.25 fpjw's are fast as
I only play them now on 5x pt. days. I still feel for the fpdw players
however. I just cant endure slow game speeds.
