You're running into two problems here. First, it's the week of a major
holiday, and I'm sure that a few folks are gone. Second, Monte Carlo's VP
inventory has historically been so awful that nobody even wants to volunteer to be
the vpFREE casino monitor.
Stay there on your offers, rent a car, and spend your VP time at more
hospitable venues. The better VP at other places will easily cover your cost for
the car, and then some.

The Monte Carlo has been sending offers all summer thanks to play
at other MGM-Mirage properties. I've been tempted, but I keep reading
that there is absolutely nothing playable there.
Nothing? Not even at $5 level? Somebody must have current info that
could help me. If so, I'll report on any and all decent machines if I
take the trip (probably in next week-and-a-half).Please try to be
specific about machine location, since I do not know the layout of the
MC at all. ANYTHING playable, 25c up to $5. Thanks.
