Allright, I am going to get vented.
First, why didn't anyone twitch at the original posting? It was a complete
verbatum of a copywrited newspaper article without any reference. No reference
of the LVRJ article. The civil way to do such things is to provide a hot
link to to original source and do a teaser sampler (up to 10%) of the pertinet
passages. Who was that anyway?
Opinion1: This new price structure is not going to help revenues. It pisses
me off as an out-of-towner.
Opinion2: The monorail is not a conveinence. I did it the first August. My
10 ride/$20 pass only got 6 rides. The thing takes you nowhere. I got on at
the Sahara station (kid and me) after driving and parking from MSS. We did
the MGM station to get to the Monte Carlo Brew Pub. What crappy signage coming
and going. We stopped at the Harrahs/IP stop too. It still is 8 minutes to
the front door/Strip.
Opinion3: I hope no public money went into this White Elephant.
