Right. And maybe they could serve ice cream too?
No doubt you are correct about the casinos and their lack of concern for the
travelers over all experience in Vegas. You can see from their lack on
contributions to the city of Las Vegas that they care little about the city, its
citizens or the neighborhood their employees live in either.

While you are correct in what you say, i.e., the casinos do not want you to
leaver their casinos have you noticed that many of the casinos are owned by
fewer and fewer of corporate holding companies so it is more difficult to leave
even if you do go across the street? One other thing I take a bit offense to
your comment about "fanny pack" folks, this may surprise even you but many very
wealthy people take public transportation ALL OVER the world, and do not wear
fanny packs and enjoy it.

  Guilty as charged! I are one......

  I wear mine for all the VP essentials, strat cards, etc. When in the Wynn I didn't see many of 'em though....(-;

  What I meant was they are not catering to the typical tourist who likes to wander through and do the "lookey look" without spending much money. Wynn's attitude on this is pretty consisten - the banning of strollers in the Bellagio for instance.

  FWIW, I still wore my pack when I went to the Wynn buffet on the 50 point sign up promo!

  The monorail is private. Some casinos might benefit from the traffic - LVH for instance. I question ot's value to the main strip resorts though. Might get a few "fanny packers" in the door, but one has to wonder how many big players are going to ride this.

  I like it - a lot. but I probably won't use it much anymore. We stay at the LVH quite a bit, and it was handy to get out on from there. but for 18 bucks roundtrip for two I will probably just cab it if I am "goin walkabout" from now on.

  But, if they did serve ice cream........(-;
