The monorail should have run right down LV Blvd, instead of being a
shuttle from a few hotels to the Convention Center. This was a huge
mistake and will become more and more apparent as traffic conditions
approach gridlock on the Blvd.

So you get a discount as a Nevada resident? But it's only those many
tourist dollars that can keep the system functioning. The monorail will
be shut down if the decrease in riders times the $5 (or slight discount
for multi-rides)is less than what they have been netting.
My thinking? If it's already losing money, how does raising the fare
66% help?
Such potential - and now turning into an embarrassing fiasco.
Get your cameras out, folks - you're looking at a dinosaur.
