This week's online Laughlin Entertainer features an article about the rundown
of MNF events.
Some Highlights:
Riverside/Loser's Lounge- the usual, but it is noted that the party is now
non-smoking.
Golden Nugget/Tarzans Lounge- the usual, except no food anymore. They are
giving away sitting in the front row again and giving away tickets for the
finale drawing for the last MNF game, $1k.
But by far the best promotion is what Marnell-Sher is doing for the Boiler
Room and Kokopeli's at CB/EW. MGM-Mirage sort of stopped any MNF fun during
their two years of ownership.
They are giving away $1k a night in both joints. One free ticket and then
100 points/ticket on Mondays in both houses. What is interesting is you have
two barrels and have to chose the winning team by halftime. The winning team
barrel gets $500, $300 and $100 prizes. The consolation prize for losers is
$100. Both football partys are being hosted by different local radio station
personalities. There is a Big Bang Finale drawing on December 17th too for a
home entertainment center with a 42 inch Plasma TV.
Sounds like this is going to be the MNF play. It will be interesting to see
what kind of TV set-up they will have in Kokopellis, but the VP/Food play will
be in the Boiler Room.
