The poker room VP is stable and busy. Played JB and PE-over $60K thru
between the two of us. Ahead $200 at end (and 600 points). Now down
only $2100 since beginning of year at MS. Miami South Beach themed
drawing event on Sunday night.
$80K given away. 750 entered the drawing we were told.
Started at 6:30 and ended around 10:00. Good band, good food, open
bar and free room that night. it was a good time but a little too
long. I liked this better than their slot tournaments.
Vegas in two weeks.
Competition is wonderful.

Mohgan May 30-31 trip report
I was at the Miami Dice drawing event also.
This was my first, do they have these type of parties
often?
The high limit slot area in the sky casino was very
busy also.
This last week I was assigned a VP of player development
rather than a host. I put through about 60k VP per day.
I'm having trouble determinging their comp system beyond
"just use your points."
Haaljo, where are you staying in Vegas? I was at the golden nugget
three weeks ago, to play some poker at Binions.

Dick,
I was told this is the first time they had such an event. They do
have monthly birthday dinner/drawings and good slot tournaments but
nothing like this before.
Our host (might be player development type) is Carla Ford. She once
comped us a room without using points. Might have been a way for her
to be nice to us due to a mix up on getting a Sagamore Card - still
don't have one
Other than that, doesn't seem like they have too much discretion.
Not complaining - the point system is very nice.
We are staying at River Palms in Laughlin ($200 bounceback), LVH
(tourney), and NYNY ($400 freeplay). As you can see our stays
revolve around offers.
If you lived in Stonnington Connecticut, I would ask if you won the
poker tournament!
