If true it doesn't surprise me, since I was told by a fairly high
level suit that the reason they dropped the payback was that the
points were killing them. It sounds like they may have found a
solution to their problem.
I can confirm that they are paying 1 point for $270 since I kept track of my
play. The smart solution when they wanted to change the original payback
was to adjust the point schedule (twice the play for the VP, as in Vegas, would
have made sense). Going to triple the play is overkill. It will be
interesting to see if MS adjusts the play requirements for Sachem or Sagamore cards
for VP players. This is still alot better than the lousy paytables though
