Mohegan Trip report

Arrived on Monday, 6/27 and stayed overnight with my wife's free room
Sagamore deal and $50 free gas offer.
Played $1 9/6 JB at the bar near the sports book (bow and arrow?)for 15
hours on her card and lost $2K :frowning:
I walked over to the $5 PE five times to see if anyone was playing.
Once, I saw one person playing but he left while I was there.
All $5, 10, and 25 say "these machines earn one point for $270 of play."
The $1 PE are still short pay.

Its a good business decision for MS to bring back the FP Pickem.
Wouldn't it be interesting to see how they reached their decision to
reinstate but reduce the comp poinsts! Maybe a consultant was retained.

If I had the bankroll, it would be my game of choice. I considered
playing the $5 pickem at 100 hand/hour but don't have the willpower to
go so slow.
Off to Nevada on July 4 for 18 days. Longest trip ever. $251 airfare on
AmericaWest. Will be house/apartment hunting in between
gambling/tournaments/shopping sprees and .33+ cashback.

haaljo,

Interesting comments regarding Mohegan's $5, $10 and $25 PE. How did
you determine that they are only paying one point for $270 of play?
If true it doesn't surprise me, since I was told by a fairly high
level suit that the reason they dropped the payback was that the
points were killing them. It sounds like they may have found a
solution to their problem.

Have a great trip to vegas, sounds like a fun trip.

Mike,
Each machine has a sign on it stating the one point = $270 rate.

Actually the $25 GameMakers say 1 point for every $275. I guess it
was really important to them to squeek out that extra 5 bucks of play
from super high-rollers.
If you include comps, (assumming you can use them), the $1 JOB is
still better -- overall 100.65%. $5 PKM overall gives 100.32%.
