Mohegan Trip report New Year's weekend

Arrived Saturday and left around noon on Monday.
Gambling (what we all do to get the offers):
$60K action. Down $1,500. Only four quads this trip :frowning:
Always able to get a seat together.
Sachem wife got the 100 $MS offer and I got $M40 for next day.
I haven't done paperwork but we figure down this year $5K at MS.
I would value offers @ $MS7,000. Figure 50% exchange rate.
So, down $1,500 for 2006. No so bad. It was a fun year at MS.

Recreation (what we get for the above):
Saturday night four tickets to Peter Noone at Wolf Den (reserved seats).
Friends didn't come so we walk the long line to get in, wife sees a
couple that looks "nice" and we invite to VIP seating. We divided up
the free lighted glasses (2 each) with Sam Adams. Had a good time.
Peter Noone was great. 59 years old and a pro entertainer.

Sunday we are going to the Sarari themed NYE party. 2,000 people, we
figure, and had a good band, acrobats, good food, good drink, very
efficiently executed. EV of "jeep" maybe all of $40 and keyring $30.
We were also able to catch Lean Rimes (sp?) in arena for about 30 min.
That was sufficient to say we saw her. An exquisite voice, she has
grown up to a striking young woman and let everyone know she is single.

Back at comped room was a gift basket full of African Themed items
including real alligator jerky. Cool!
Sachem wife took full advantage of M$700 earned.
Here's to 2007 on the left side of the curve to us all.
