mohegan sun vp freeplay offers

Interested in knowing if anybody receiving free play on vp games that don't give points. Can you still get a wolf or sagamore card by playing games that don't offer points? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I used to be Sagamore just playing VP with no point, but not anymore. My status was downgraded to just player.
You do received small token of freeplay, like $30. I wonder if it is worthwhile after spending thousands, you have to pay for your own food and gas!!!

$30 FP can be combined with offer same or next day for $30 more.
Doesn't matter if you don't go for a year. Still get offers.

Free room on limited weekdays.

Full pay pickem so $60 of FP makes for 1% advantage with $6K action or .5% with $12K. If something good going on in Wolf Den then we will go.

If we get lucky and continue to gamble with some limited slots, then can sometimes get into lounge. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Also, get $30-$60 at Foxwoods so will go to both joints doing a scenic loop from Boston.

But we now go to Vegas/Laughlin once/month. Going 7/2 for a week.
$500 for two on Southwest (we each had $100 voucher) plus $200 car.

$1,000 free play. Fireworks July 4th Vegas July 6th Laughlin. Nice.

I was back in Boston last December and gave them one weekend of decent play all on zero point machines. From that my wife received a Sagamore card, offers for rooms 7 days, $500 fsp 3-4 times a month, free points and dining credits. The offers are still coming from that one weekend. My wife is in Boston now and will finally get to use them.

Joel,

If you don't mind, approximately how much did you have to run through the machines for those offers?

Thx

I put through approx 200K for those offers. The fact that my wife shows up as a big loser because of the way we played for several years may have been a factor.

Have heard of very good offers like this when one disappears for a year. I'd speculate your action got you nothing but made the computer feel sad that your wife wasn't there and wants to try to make sure she is when you visit next time.
Nice offer. Better than our vegas offers. Leaving Tuesday for a week.

Hi Joel,
We are in the same situation. After about three trips of about 90k each on Dori's card she was upgraded back to sachem. FSP of 125 six or seven times a month, points perks etc. I am sure it is because of how we play. I am taking the hit for the team

OK..First it's your money burn on the street corner if you wish...

Now please help to clear up my confusion..

We've all talked about the "massacre" of August 2011.

People said that they wouldn't play machines that weren't giving players pts. Almost everyone said that they would perhaps just use up their FSP and comp pts. and leave.

Now I read about two of our more respected posters playing these machines and I have questions

1. You're getting pts. on games that supposedly don't give pts. ?
2. Room and other offers ?
3. What are these dining points? Any shopping pts. ?
4. How much was your daily coin in average ?
5. Did it take at least three trips or are people getting offers from just one trip? And how "long" are these trips ?
5. What caused you to start to play once again at the Sun before you even received ( or knew ? )that you would be getting offers from play on machines that supposedly don't generate offers ?
6. Are we only talking Pick'Em ?

Hi Larry,

We moved to Florida about a year and a half ago and were back to visit my in-laws in December. After several nights staying with my mother in law it was time for a break so we went to Mohegan. My wife who is the 'big loser' called. After a year without play she was able to get a comped room and lounge access. (not 33) After our first night of play she called and we were upgraded to a Sky Suite the second night.

No, we did not earn any points while playing.

After we left, my wife has been getting room, free play, players perks and dining offers every every month. She was also upgraded to Sagamore.

We made a total of two trips and stayed one night each time. We played slightly over 100K each trip on $5 BP, JOB and about 25% $10 Pick-em.

This month my wife was downgraded to $250 fsp because when she went the last two months all she played was .25 video poker. She has received a suite on all of her stays the last two months. For July, she has (8) offers of $250 fsp, (4) offers of $250 players perks, 1 offer of 250 points and (1) offer of $250 dining dollars.

Yes I remember, you and I had conversations in re to HR Hollywood. You were most helpful.

Very interesting...
What do you mean by players perks ? Did any of the offers overlap one another ?
So I gather an overnight is two full days of play on one card ?

Thanks for replying. Hopefully Mel will also reply.

dori was upgraded to sachem. None of the perks overlap. I play $2 while dori plays $1 vp. I only play fsp but she sometimes plays slots and short pay (I can't control her). We only play on her card so any jackpots I hit are on my card and it always looks like she loses so she gets decent offers. It took three or four trips over the last 7 months to get back to this level. Our coin in was about 80g per trip and we only play one day when we go overnight. We also get suites all the time and have 3 txs for the eagles and 2 comped rooms

Larry,
In August all of Dori's offers overlap. Everytime she has fsp she also has either points, dining credits, or player perks to use anywhere. Never can figure them out
