Mohegan Sun Questions...

I have recently been playing Pick'em ($1 Full pay) in the Earth
casino at Mohegan (thanks to input from some of you).

1. I am trying to get an idea as to what we have to play per session
and how long a session should be (minimally) in order ot maximize
your player status? (I understand that more is better!)

2. What are the most recent numbers for sagamore and sachem?

3. What kind of play, in a days time, would get me access to those
back rooms?

4. How are you all computing "theo?" I have read about and understand
it, but have not been able to make an estimate as to what mine is.

For the record, we are playing five credits and play nearly perfect.
We practice almost daily on the newest version of WinPoker.

I have an estimate of our play based on points that we earn.

I consider myself a student of the game and after playing now for 5
years (mainly in vegas and mohegan) am just biding my time until that
Royal comes through!

Hit a $1199 straight flush this past wednesday. It made for a nice
night.

Thanks in advance!
Bill

How many hands on what game(s) (estimated) have you played?

I have played Jacks or better, bonus and more recently pickem (for
the last few months).

On an average night I am playing only about 2 hours, putting roughly
$5000 thru the machine. Which means, based on 1 point for $90 coin-
in,
I am playing about 500 hands/hour (if I look at points at the end of
the night). As for the royal I believe on Jacks it's about once every
40000 hands. I think pickem is about every 60000 hands. I would say I
have easily played that amount of hands over my poker playing time.
However, we all know, those are averages! Some have hit back-to-back.
Unfortunately, not me! (I think that answers your question)

John
If you play the $1PE at MS your $5,000 action/day has a Theo for the
Casino of about $250. I think you should go half the time and play
twice the amount for $10K/day producing a theo of $500/day.
That may get you Sagamore in 3 months. Search the board
for "Sagamore."

You will be gambling at a "flat-top" play which is a fair bet.
You will be gambling for the points and comps which have value.
I use .5% for value which is a reasonable to risk your bankroll in
New England. 9/6 Jacks may still have a theo advantage over PE. I'm
not intersted in grinding away at Jacks. Its a grind at PE after 4 or
so hours. First hours are a lot of fun.
