I was told a few months ago that all the machines were going to be reset
(eventually) to allow over $500 credit balances w/o having tickets spit out. The
process was to take an undetermined "while". I noticed in the new casino that
machines that only went to $500 now allow credits above that. Unfortunately my
last trips were not successful enough to test the "Outer Limits".

Subject: [vpFREE_NewEngland] Mohegan Sun Pick'Em Minor Changes
Some of the FP $1.00 Pick'Em machines (slants and uprights) have now been set to
allow tickets to exceed $500.
Probably more significant some have been set not to lock up for a $600 4oK. I
ran up my score above $500 without a 4oK and tickets did not come spitting out.
When I dropped down to $400, I then got a 4oK and the display registered $1,000
(no lock up). At some point when I took a break I printed a ticket for $1,000
(no problem cashing it). The strange thing was a few PE machines over, someone
hit a 4oK and the machine locked up and he was paid with a hand pay. I was
playing at the furthest slanttop next to the annoying Wizard of OZ machines, but
I noticed someone behind me on the uprights was showing a score of over $700, so
I assumed he also got a non-hand pay 4oK.
