Good News and Bad News.
Bad News: If your VP game of choice, previously paid 1 point for $90
CI such as the 9/6 Bartop JoB machines, you are now gettting 1 point
for $140 (coin in) CI.
Good News: If your VP game of choice, previously paid 1 point for
$180 CI such as the $1 and $0.25 Pick'Em FP machines, you are now
getting 1 point for $140 CI.
I checked out the "so-called" new "Casino of The Wind" :
First, it appears not to have a separate entrance from the outside or
from the inside shopping mall. The only entry and exit is through the
Casino of the Sky, near the large round bar.
Second it is small: About one-third or less the size of the Casino of
the Sky. Kind of about the same size or smaller than the Hall of Lost
Tribes
So to me it it merely an expansion/extension of the Sky Casino. As
others have mentioned since it has no exterior entry points and no
windows or sky lights it is very dark. Also the machines and tables
have little spacing giving it an almost claustrophobic feeling.
Lastly, except for the bartops, there is nothing playable VP-wise
that I could see. There is a new circular bar at the far end (away
from the Sky casino) maybe with about 20 seats and at the dollar
level it has 9/6 JoB -- again at $140 CI = one point.
So it appears all VP machines throughout Mohegan Sun are now paying
0.0714% in comp points on VP machines on $0.25 and $1.00 machines. As
mentioned this is an improvement for some and a downgrade for others.
I didn't check the $5 or higher VP machines, however.
On a personal good note, after three years of playing Pick'Em, I got
my first straight flush today (Sunday) and got a hand pay of $1,199.
I got it in the old poker room on a dollar Pick'Em machine.
