I didn't get any for October either. But while I was at the pump someone paid
the attendant with an October gas card.

I didn't get one for October either. My thoughts were that they
received a much better response from the previous gas card promotion
than they had anticipated. I think I used my gas card every week
except one and I know that there were 2 or 3 times that I filled up
after leaving the Foxwoods Poker room and not stopping in to play any
VP (although I did go in to try and get that swipe jackpot). But, if
Joel saw someone with a card then I guess I was wrong - or maybe they
cut down the list of people who received the cards. Joel, did you see
what the dollar amount was on the card?

I don't think I put enough $ through to be on the better side of the
comp system. I was happy with my $15 card naively thinking that's
what everyone received. I was surprised when I saw someone with a $25
and another with a $50 gas card although, in retrospect, not really
that surprised.

I received a $50 gas card in Sept, but nothing in Oct (I actually
didn't get any promotional material at all from MS in Oct). I used
the gas card maybe 3 times in Sept, but I also gave them about
$300,000 coin-in on VP during the month. Some of my friends that
didn't play at all during Sept got things like $15/week food vouchers.

On a side note, I started playing at MS in June, and have given them
about $1.2 million in VP coin-in (and I'm actually up a bit!), plus
maybe 10-12 hours of $75-$100 BJ play (I keep VERY detailed VP
records). I STILL don't have a Sagamore card -- anyone know what it
takes to get one of these?? Is it based on actual loss? I can't
imagine many people play more than I do, so I'm thinking that the
fact that I haven't lost anything yet might have something to do with
it.

There is no rhyme or reason to achieving Sagamore. I would suggest you
keep a low profile on this matter. Eventually, you will get a Sagamore
Card under the existing system. It takes at least three months once
the computer says you are Sagamore.
You may casually inquire at the lounge when the loungelings swipe your
card for entrance - if you are rated Sagamore. Other than that, the
benfits do not outweight staying under the radar in our opinion.

No October gas card for me as well.

Agree 100% on not bringing it up -- definitely not worth it. Just
thought it was strange that I haven't gotten one considering my
play. Thanks for the response.
