Mohegan Sun Database Update

Thanks for the info. I found the machines and it was not what I expected. I expected the double jackpot to be on the 4OK. Instead these machines are 9/6 DDB with a double royal payout or less then 96% EV without the royal.

The funny thing is that I put in a $100 to see the pay table and got 4 J. I switched back to Pick-em on the next hand.

The DBDJ just says Double Bonus on the screen. If the last person was
playing 5 credits, you'll see the paytable show 8000 for a Royal
instead of 4000 like in regular DB.

Does anyone know if the Sigmas at the 'Woods are back up? I only play
during double points.

Importance of avg daily theo: I got offer fron the Sun for 75 points +
25 for email. I only had one single day of play since Christmas (one
day in August) with not quite $10,000 coin-in in $1 Pick'Em.

The Video Poker Analyzer on Gamblingtools.net shows the EV is
100.0949%. The Royal accounts for 4.86% of the return and a whopping
92.7 variance. One consolation though is the Royal cycle is <33,000
hands -- less than the SF cycle in PKM and the lowest for any VP
game; so the bankroll requirement will be less than a game with the
same variance. (Odd plays exist like 3 to a Royal beating a pair of
Aces which beats 2 pair.) Jazbo has a good article on VP volatility
which shows that variance is not the only thing in surviving:

You might not need a boatload of cash -- just half a boatload.
