Mohegan Slot Tournament

I played in yesterday evening's 75K slot tournament. It was scheduled to be two rounds each with six sessions
There were so few people that they reduced the 2nd round to only three sessions. There were 42 machines but only 8 players in my round. The highest 25 scores got a price. With only a little over a hundred people the odds were pretty good. I didn't win anything but with a 35K first price the odds were a lot better then hitting a royal.
The play was very boring with few jackpots. MS needs to learn how to run a tournament and set up their machines like Vegas with lots of jackpots. Most scores were in the 3-4K range.
The gift was absolutely the cheapest I have ever seen in any tournament. It was a little plastic container with a pair of gardening gloves and some seeds. Most people just left them there.

Saturday was the Foxwoods/MGM opening, and the feather lounge was
empty all night. Normally it's packed with a wait. Bartender said
many of the better players headed over to MGM, and I heard about
invites.

I went to the Sunday $50k slot tournament, which was filled. A
number of the players from Saturday night were invited back to this
one. No gift, but the food was decent.

Anybody visit the MGM?
