Play when you don't play is if you go up for a show or activity and don't
play, they are also taking a look at your losses.
They have been doing this for years. I had a discussion with my host years
ago about what enters into the determination of club card levels and offers.
Beyond the obvious action, the host mentioned they also consider losses
(after all casinos love losers :D). I was also told that accepting a show or
offer with no play is frowned on. Once is a great while is okay but doing it
consistently will cause problems.
Most players understand that offers, amounts, etc. are dependent on your
daily theoretical average at most casinos. The concern is then, what generates
a "visit" that is counted against your daily average. Playing does.
Accepting a gift offer, tickets or attending an event does. It has been the
understanding on this board that strictly using points (shopping, gas or at a
restaurant) doesn't.
Does anyone have any different info?
