Mohegan FP Offers

I still think it is the amount of play you do, and of course they prefer it to be slots. I mix both slots and VP and as a Wolf I get $75 and $100 offers quite often. I play long hours 10-14, and I do lose, but not always. I don't play enough 50 cent or larger machines to get gobs of points, so Wolf is in my range every six months, and the others would take too much more play for me to get to. When I do play VP, I usually play $1.25 or $2.50 a hand, I had my first $2k royal a couple weeks ago, and so far I don't think it effected my offers, but ...instead of a $75 food comp, I got a $50 in the mail a few days ago, so maybe it did. I guess I will know by this weeks mailings.

On the "bright" side of the downgrade in free play is that the "what is a
trip" and "how much action do I need to give them" questions start to become
moot. In years past I would go out of my way to take advantage of a coupon
but lately the offers, which I seem to get almost daily, don't motivate me
to make a trip to Mohegan anymore. I personally have little interest in the
concert offerings and women's basketball is of no interest so if my daily
drops I'm not sure what I have lost. I also have more points than I know
what to do with so if I need a meal, that's no issue.

I understand why casinos do these things but in my case, it seems that they
lose play and probably money, because of their policy. On the other hand,
I'm literally flying across the country to take advantage of another, much
better, offer.
