My two cents.
Think (cynic that I am) that New England is in a different situation
then monopolizing the Las Vegas Strip by Harrahs.
Don't see the Mashantucks or Mohegans(sp?) collaborating with
Harrahs. I think First Nations have learned much in the last 300
years. Lincoln Park could become a Harrah but that would be a good
thing.

I totally agree. If I lived in Vegas, I would be BS that regulators
let it happen. I am also annoyed regulators don't allow competition
in the New England gambling industry. Need to protect lotteries with
their 50% return.
