Has anyone recently claimed their birthday gift from Mohegan?
I just got my birthday mailing (Platinum) for September and was wondering if it was still the same old choices: the Rolex, the 65" Sony with the Blu-ray home theater system, the one year BMW lease, etc. ; )

The best one, IMHO, for Platinum, was the super-soft robe. I gave it to my wife.

I did exactly the same thing. The robe was by far the nicest gift available.

I am relatively new to MS - first trip was last fall. It appears from this discussion that probably based on play you are assigned a grouping of gifts - Platinum being one. I had never heard of this before. I am Sagamore and for my birthday this past March I received a card from my host indicating a comp for $300 to any MS outlet would be available from the player's club both through the end of April, which I did take advantage of. Possibly this was because I was new and next time around I will get an offer such as Platinum.

Sagamore's or higher should get gifts from there hosts. Ed you must be playing alot, 300 is a good gift. We usually get 150. Have a great day. Ciao Don

I am Sagamore and for my birthday this past March I received a card from my host indicating a comp for $300 to any MS outlet would be available from the player's club both through the end of April, which I did take advantage of. Possibly this was because I was new and next time around I will get an offer such as Platinum.

Don,
Does your host give you a $150 anything comp, stores, restaurants, etc?
My host always says he'll "comp us to dinner", and its for $150. Plus I got the platinum level gift, and the "staff of the Mohegan" sent a chocolate cake to the room. The cake was a new touch this year.
