MLife Tier Benefits

MLife Tier Benefits Is there anywhere to get a more detailed list of the benefits, platinum level, than the MGm website? Seems like very limited information compared to Caesars site. Either that are there are there are not any benefits to speak of. What about a list of Noir benefits. Surely there are more than listed on the website.

MLife tier benefits appear sparsely detailed simply because they are sparse.

I chuckle every time someone stamps their feet over a modest change in TR benefits (and, yes, I consider elimination of the annual catalog gift to be "modest"). I don't know of another program that extends the breadth of benefits that TR does.

Is there something specific you are looking for?
I have some things listed here: http://www.markslasvegas.com/mgm-resorts-mlife-players-club-2/
I've found MGM to be more host-centric than Caesars, so you might want to try contacting a host.

You say Express Comps can be used at gift shops. That has not been my experience. Do you have to charge to your room first?

It's been some time since I've attempted use Express Comps at gift shops in LV, so I can't offer timely experience there, but at the MS MLife properties (Beau Rivage/Gold Strike), there's no question that Express Comps use is restricted to the purchase of logo'd merchandise.

I have used Express Comps to pay at the gift shop, but it has been a long time since I've done that. If they have the sign that says "Express Comps Accepted Here", you should be able to do it. What I typically do these days, though, is use the tier discount instead. You also have the option of charging it to your room and applying the Express Comps there.

I'm hearing from more people that paying at the gift shop with Express Points is a thing of the past. I've updated my post. The tier discount still works though.

One other update to your blog post -- Noir now requires 2 million tier points to rate an invite. I was told that by a booth attendant last year and since we had well over 1 million points before they rolled over in October and are still at Platinum I have to believe she was right.

My wife uses Express comps for spa services. Haven't tried using them in gift shops.

And from my experience I'd say you need a loss for the year, at least if you are a video poker player.

I heard in the past that, although someone had reached the Noir level requirement, if you were a video poker player you often just weren’t “invited.” Whether that is still true, I am not sure.

That is still true. My host told me you need to lose $150k and get the points.
