mLife: Less is More???

Since Mlife rolled out, I am getting the same number of offers, but the freeplay included in them is a bit less than it was prior to the rollout.

Basically, depending on the property, my offers are what would be been the one or two tiers lower than iwas getting under the old system.

From what I've heard from others and seen posted on other forums, that seems to be the case for most.

I don't know if this drop is due to a tightening up by MGM or if the new system's increased focus on daily play/theo vs. the old system's focus on trip play, trip theo, and a little bit of trip actual win/loss, but I wouldn't be too surprised if that were the case.

Like Mickey, I'd love to hear some more reports from the group. True, there are much more +EV places to play than any of the MGM properties, but my wife really love staying/playing at couple of their properties, so they will continue to get (some of) our play.

I've given MGM-Mirage casinos quite a bit of play over the years. So, I wasn't surprised when they made me (like many of you) a Platinum M Life member in their redesigned slot club.

I haven't stayed or played at any of their properties yet this year. So, I logged in at mlife.com to see what my opportunities were.

Lo and behold, I was disappointed to see a grand total of only 3 offers spread between just 2 properties. A year ago I might have seen 20 offers from 6 or 7 properties (including those where I had not played but might want to try, like Luxor). Heck, I even received an early New Year's RFB offer from NYNY and haven't played there in five YEARS.

I would like some feedback as to what others of you are receiving and how you feel the new M Life program is treating you in general. Thanks.

*i have 16 offers across 4 casinos. i'm pearl, close to gold.

My one comment on the MGM MLife campaign is the total stupidity of the concept. Do they not know there is a casino down the road with the name "M"? Everytime I see the billboard I shake my head....."lets point everyone to the M casino and call ourselves the MLife! Marketing Negative101.

  Cheers!

I'm surprised the M didn't make a huge stink about it, or none I remember hearing about anyway (which I recognize as not being the same thing  )

Unless maybe they think the confusion can only help them or something.
