In a listing in the database I see the term DAID (midnight to
midnight) ... that is a term that is new to me. The same listing has
the comp day listed as 6AM to 6AM which I know is correct.Could someone please share the meaning of DAID with me.
Thank you.

I think you mean the acronym "DIAD". This term Diamond in a Day was coined
by casino players for the unique opportunity to upgrade the slot card Tier
level for a Harrahs (HET) casino.
The Tier points needed in a 24 hour period to upgrade to Platinum or Diamond
level used to be casino specific. It appears now it is the same system wide
at 2000 for Platinum and 3000 for Diamond.
One quirk was alot of casinos (like Laughlin) used midnight as the starting
and ending time for DIAD, even though the slot club day which were reflected in
the daily Base and Bonus points counters did not reset until 5-6 am.
