I think that "short term" is the time you spend in the casino. "Long term" is the time the machine spends in the casino.

Considering the volitility of these games and the limited amount of time we get to play them, almost anything can happen
during the course of a visit to the casino. Knowing this does not stop me from practicing regularly and working to
get my 'error effect on return' to the lowest level possible, but who knows what hands may turn up? Isn't that the fun part
of this game?

On another topic, holding three cards to a Royal over a high pair: an interesting variation just occured during a recent practice
session. I was dealt 10s Js 10h Qs Qc. Very temping to hold the QJ10 to go for the Royal. What would you do? The strategy play
says hold the 2 pair, which is what I did. Result, no FH and No Royal. Just 2Pair. I wonder if I'd do the same in live play.
