Notes on various Reno casinos from a recent trip:
Silver Legacy:
Confirmed that there are 2 (but not 4 as listed in database) triple/5 play machines with 10 coin 10/6 DDB (full pay at 5 coin) at $.25/$.50/$1 denominations. The other machines in the bank were something else.
Peppermill:
Apparently Bally has finally fixed the main problems with TITO, as there are now at least 6 "Triple Trouble" machines at the Peppermill with $.05/$.10/$.25 Pick'em. 5 are located near the Fireside lounge (3 to the left of the Extreme Jackpot machines with 10/6/40 DDB progressive, 2 more to the right of those machines), and one more around the corner in the hallway leading to the Coffee Shop.
Atlantis:
The $1 Bally uprights to the right of the Stage have been replaced with MG/MD IGT uprights, the main result being that the 10/7/80 DB is gone.
Now that Peppermill is starting to put Bally machines in again, perhaps Atlantis will add some new ones in the future.
Siena:
Confirmed that 10/7 DB are all gone
There is a bank of 10 MG/MD IGT slant tops neat the Contrada that have:
$.50/$1 NSUD, 9/7 DB, 9/6 JoB, 9/5 DDB, all at 5 coin
There is a bank of 12 MG/MD IGT machines near the cashier. 3 machines in that bank have $.25/$.50/$1 10 coin 9/6 JoB.
The 10 coin $.05 NSUD on progressive is still there
There are some uprights with $.25 8/5 BP near the hotel end of the casino.
The 8/5 BP is of particular note because this is the highest percentage play in the casino.
The database lists $.25 8/5 BP progressive, but I was unable to locate this. The inventory has been shuffled around a lot in the last year, so it's likely that these are gone. I did find $.25 7/5 BP progressive.
Foir those that don't know, a very long running promotion at the Siena is a bonus on any quads on VP machines (excluding wild card games and 50/100 plays). The quad bonus requires max coin in, and is $2 on $.05/$.10 games, $5 on $.25/$.50 games, $10 on $1/$2 games, and $25 on $5/$10/$25 games.
With the quad bonus, $.25 bonus poker becomes 100.11%, $.25 10 coin or $1 5 coin 9/6 JoB becomes 100.01%, both beating out the NSUD (since the quad bonus does not apply to wild card games). Various other games at low denominations end up above 99.5% with the quad bonus.
They also have a double royal promotion that's been going on for a long time. If you hit 2 royals within 24 hours of each other, they will match the payout on the lesser royal (up to $4000). This used to be from midnight-midnight but is now within 24 hours (you get a card when you hit the first royal with the time on it so you know what time you have to hit the next one). The double royal bonus is valid on all VP machines, but only applies once/day (significant if you play 50/100 play machines).
There are various other promotions as well, subject to change.
