Misc. re: Arizona Charlie's, MSS and Palms

I made use of the hand sanitizer for Easter Brunch. 10
days and still projectile vomiting free! Woohoo.

I had the Norwalk virus (I suppose) in December and was so
sick I considered going to the emergency room. I usually
eat and play once a week at MSS, but of course I could have
gotten the virus anywhere.

They also have gone to plastic cups for drink service
from the CWs and bar. Still use glass at 777.

Now the MSS Buffet is also using plastic cups for cold
drinks.

Also, those darned slant tops that haven't been converted
coinless seem to require hand pays for even the smallest
amounts. I had $80 and $100 handpays in consecutive
sessions and I just played the uprights from then on.
Could they be both coinless and ticketless?

You must mean the FPDW slant-tops, since the slant-tops
with 10/7 Double Bonus still have quarters in them. I
haven't played the FPDW slant-tops at MSS in several months,
but I do know that Arizona Charlie's Decatur had machines for
awhile that were both coinless and ticketless. A cash-out
of even a penny would be a hand-pay. After a few months,
they finally enabled the tickets on these.

Any machine that is multiple denomination does its' payoffs in the lowest denomination. If you are playing the FPDWs at MSS that have the nickel base, i.e. the slant tops near the WOF machines or the uprights closest to the valet, any payoff over 1000 nickels ( $50.00) will become a hand pay. Very easy to accomplish when playing quarters. You would also have the same problem if you were playing dollars on the quarter based machines any payoff over $250 would be a hand pay.

Ugh. My sympathies. We made great efforts at hand hygiene during our last stay at MSS.

Yes, the deuces slant tops. No clinking of empty hopper. I pushed the cash out button and the screen automatically went to "Hand Pay Call Attendant."
