MGM ripoff

While playing a 20 coin max bet DB machine I hit a royal on a 5
bet.
Everything was great until I saw that it only pays 1500 credits and
not the normal 4000. I called for the tech., host or whoever. They
didn't have the slightest idea what was going on. There are 5 pay
columns on the screen. 1st coin, 2nd coin, 3rd coin 4th and then max.
After almost 2 hrs. of opening different machines and arguing they
came to the conclusion that after every coin from 4th on up the 4th
column would change. They put coins in and 5 only pays 1500.
Therefore that was all I was entitled to. I pushed the bet button
manually and it would take a 12 coin bet to get 4200 credits. The
rest of the payouts are the norm for DB 1-1-3-5-7-9-250-400-800-250.
What would the pay percentage be for that with a 1500 royal?
There were 3 woman playing near me that were screaming about it and
got up and left. There were I think 6 machines in this row left to
right the 1st 3 were 5 coin max bet{4000 royal} then a 20 coin max
{4000 royal} then 2 1500 royal pays. When the suits were there they
couldn't figure out why one 20 coin machine paid 4000 so they put it
out of service and said it was labled wrong. When the 4th column
changes per coin the number is red. There are still 5 pay columns
which would make a casual player think they would be paid 16000 for a
royal. I figured it was just the screen not working properly. The
head suit told me these were new from IGT and that the MGM techs are
the ones who program them and then smirked at me. When I finally
screamed at them and told them that it was false advertising and
caused quite a commotion I told them that I would never return. I
filled out a gaming complaint and turned in my players card. I expect
the complaint to be swept under the rug. This cost me $625. I told
them between my wife and I we were out $600 when I hit and that we go
there probably 25 times a year and take other new people with us and
in the long run they'll lose more than the $625 they cheated me out
of. I am not naive to the point that I think they care. So if you
must play at MGM Detroit don't play the 20 coin machines there are
more than a hundred others that pay normal. As for me I have no
choice but to go to Greektown. Ohio Bino
