MGM Promo

I went over to MGM yesterday to swipe my card to see if I could hit
one of the higher payout's in their promo. There were four people in
line in front of me. The first person swiped, and hit for $100.
Second: $50. Third: $25. Forth $200. Me...$10...sigh. As I went to
the player's booth to redeem it, the line was so long that I crumpled
up the $10 ticket and threw it in the trash in disgust.

I played quarter Pick'Em for a couple of hours, was losing, and
finally hit a quad and left $50 ahead. I went over to GT next and
promptly dropped $400 trying to hit a royal that was at almost $5,200.

Some days you get the beer, and some days the beer get you.

Looks like Huntington Press, and I are probably going to put out my
book, The JOKE-TIONARY of POKER, first in e-book form. It will be
broken up into several smaller e-books and sold that way. I don't
know the particulars yet, but when I do , I'll let you know.

"Playing poker for money is sort of like riding a roller coaster.
It's up and down, speed up and slow down, hold on tight and don't
lose your cool. And when it's over, you feel like throwing up."
