MGM Pick'Em

Guys,

I did my quarterly three Detroit casino tour Monday to see if
anything had changed. Here's my report:

Motor City has nothing new or anything changed. Still a lot of the
usual low paying games and very few of them. Not a very big vp
inventory. They have a progressive that might be worth playing if it
gets high enough.

Greektown, as we know, has nothing new and that's good, as they have,

MGM now has "Ta Da!" Full Pay Pick'Em on the new Game Maker HDs, like
the ones upstairs at GT. However, they have the same lousy vp that
you find everywhere. Games like: 7/5 Jacks or Better, 8/5 Double
Double Bonus, 6/5 Super Aces, 7/5 White hot Aces, etc. etc. etc.

The full pay Game Maker HD Pick'Em is a lot harder to play mistake
free than the old machines. The buttons are different and the two
choice cards are alternately highlighted which is kind of confusing
and leading to many mistakes.

I played for an hour or so, and made more mistakes (hitting the wrong
button) than I ever did before. The final straw was when I hit the
wrong button and failed to hold trips. With that I left.

I'll stick with Greektown when I want to play video poker.

PS: My JOKE-TIONARY of POKER book still hasn't been rejected yet.
They want me to send them the whole 572 page volume before the make a
decision. I'm going over it again for the hundredth time for errors
before I mail it.

Thank You Terry for the update.
