Back on December 9, 2004, Jean Scott posted what's below. Did anyone else
receive this mailed notice from MGM/Mirage? Their web site says that the
Holiday Gift Shoppe earning period started on January 1, 2005. When I checked with
my host at Bellagio, she said the same thing. When I asked her about the
December 1 date, she checked with her superiors and was told no, January 1 is the
correct start date.
I played at Bellagio fairly heavily three days in late December, believing
that my play would count for the 2005 HGS. If anyone remembers receiving the
info below in the mail, please post, especially if you still have the letter!
Jean told me she had noted the info on her calendar and then thrown the
letter away. If I could somehow show a copy to Bellagio management, I might still
be credited with my December play.
