During play in May, I earned holiday gift points at MGM at a rate of 1
point for every $3.71 CI. In August (double point month), I expected
to earn 1 point for every $1.85 CI, but instead earned gift points at a
rate of 1 for every $1.50 CI (better than expected). I am wondering if
this may be due to points accruing at different rates at different
properties (I played at MGM and MB). Can anyone else tracking this
offer some insight?

That's really strange, Correna. MGM/Mirage is supposed to be one point
for every $3 on video poker, so the double points during August would
be correct at $1.50 per point, but the $3.71 per point in May wouldn't
be right. I'd have complained about that!

How did you track your CI?
Did you redeem any CB (cashback) using the PointPlay method?
and I would assume the same would apply to Gift Shop points.

From my observations, while redeeming PointPlay, you don't earn any CB

I tracked CI by recording points earned. I redeemed CB on both
trips - so that should not have influenced the result.
